So we sequence it properly. We look at the space before we quote it. We seal the penetrations, remove what has failed, specify the product the assembly actually calls for, and document the fire barrier so it clears inspection. If the honest answer for your attic is fiberglass rather than foam, that is what we will quote — we install both, so we have no reason to sell you the more expensive one.
